how big is Duval?
A few weeks ago I took the train from Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo, CA. On that train I had a conversation about the town of Duval, where I now reside. The man I was talking with is of Asian origin, now living in LA.
MAN: Where do you live?
ME: Duval, Saskatchewan in Canada.
[I may have also clarified that Saskatchewan is north of Montana and North Dakota.]
MAN: Oh. How big is your town?
ME: Ninety-five.
MAN: Thousand?
ME: No, just ninety-five people.*
(*Note: that's according to the 2006 census data. Give or take ...)
