my new favourite bookstore
For those of you who live in or near Regina, I’d like to plug my new favourite bookstore:
2nd Link Books & More
715 Victoria Ave. (3 blocks east of Winnipeg St.)
2nd Link used to sell mainly used books, but about a year ago they bought out the Blessings stock when it closed. There is a used book room in the basement, but upstairs they have a fascinating arrangement, organizing books by category, with 2 or 3 shelves of new and 2 or 3 shelves of used books in each section.
Another wonderful thing about them is their ability to track used books for customers. A few months ago, I started collecting Margaret Epp books and have acquired several through their attentive assistance – and a very reasonable prices!
Here are their new Christmas Hours:
10 am - 5:30 pm Mon., Tues., Wed., Fri., Sat.
10 am - 7 pm Thurs.
